Overview

Throughout the programme, learners will examine a range of marketing scenarios and explore content strategies that reflect best practice when engaging digital audiences. They’ll work across a mix of tools and platforms, experimenting with conversational styles that support organisational tone, messaging, and brand values. This approach allows learners to craft their own content and communication methods, preparing them to respond to both planned and reactive marketing opportunities.

Learners will gain confidence using a range of digital tools—including design software, video editing platforms, and social media schedulers—building skills in graphic and visual design, short-form video production, audio content, and content scheduling.

Design principles are introduced in a practical, employer-focused context. Learners will consider audience engagement, visual identity, and brand consistency, while developing accessible and inclusive content that meets professional standards. There is also a strong emphasis on refining written tone and visual storytelling to help communicate messages clearly and build engagement in online communities.

Learners will explore current examples of successful marketing—ranging from influencer campaigns to community-driven projects—to understand the strategies behind them and how they might apply those techniques within their own work.
